Anyone install headers for the angle spark plug heads on a SBC.

Thank you,
Ed

I had a set of Doug Thorely's that fit, but I had to dimple one of the primaries so the boot would not hit. I am currently using a set of Heddman Elite's on the angle plug 383ci, but it is in a 2wd truck now. You may want to check with them because I think I remember them having a 4x4 application.

X2 on the Heddman Elites, i have them on my 84 Jimmy. Fit my Sportsman II's with angle plug heads no problem.

My Hooker comps I used to have with my small block cleared the angle plugs no problem.

Did your heads have the raised exhaust ports?
And where the headers the shorty or full length type?
Thanks,
Ed

Thank you, I'm going to check on the 4x4 version right know.

I have a nice set of JBS's with less then 3,000 miles that I was hoping to use, but it dont look like I'll be able too. going to be using the AFR 210'S with angle plugs and raised raised exhaust ports.

Thanks again,
Ed

I'm running the angle plug AFR 180's with a shorty header for a 88-95 truck and they work no problem.

What brand headers and would that be for a 4x4 88-95 or 2 wheel version?
Thanks,
Ed

I'm running Flow-tech headers and IIRC they are for 4x4 applications. I'll double check and let you know for sure.

No raised exhaust ports, stock location. And they were full length long tube "competition" series headers, not the super comps. Are about $150 I think. I don't like shorties, long tubes have more torque and hp.

EDIT: I see you are running AFR 210 heads, putting shorties on those things makes you lose your man card. :D
