anonymous bolts in engine block, and now P/S mounting questions

There is an extra bracket, that goes for the AC compressor on my 81 burb that I sold to the kid next door, ( who painted the motor green ) That spaces the PS pump out about a 1/4in from the front of the block. Here are a couple pics I just went and took.
