another 700/205 question thread

i have been searching and doing research for a while on this but i just want to make sure i’m not missing any critical things. i’m going with the “longer mating option” to keep my front driveshaft/tranny pan out of harms way. The only question left i have is will i have to cut and or relocate where my T case handles pop through the floor? I don’t mind doing so, i’m just trying to get all my ducks in a line before digging in. any advice from someone who has done it first hand would be great

My truck was originally a SBC/TH350/NP203 setup. I swapped a 700R4 and 205 in place, and I used the spacer from AA.

I also used a twinstick from ORD.

There was some trimming of the shifter opening that was required, and I modified the shifters as well, bending them forward slightly.
