Another C to K conversion

I really like your 'burb!:waytogo:

Thanks :)

I wish I had more time to work with all my projects, now Suburban is more of a storage to all my junk from all the other vehicles I'm working on. Maybe I should build some shelfs to store those parts, it would be possible to do something small on Sub instead of just moving stuff from point a to point b.

I've got all sorts of crazy ideas for this Sub, latest is to build a independent suspension to all four corners, maybe even with H1 reduction hubs

But lets see that after I get the body done to some point, and attached to a frame.

If everything goes as planned, I'm buying a '79 K20 Suburban with 350 engine (that's why I asked about the big-block hp numbers, for some reason I'd like to throw Roots-type of charger on top of the 350).

K20 is basic model, there's nothing luxury on it what so ever. No power windows, no A/C nor cruise. Even the interior is basic, panels only on doors and bench seats. Perfect, because all those parts are left over from my current project, and I don't have to worry about those cool tinted windows I've taken off the shortened body (K20 has clear windows). Question is about cargo door windows (which K20 has). I browse through a LMC catalog for tinted defogger windows for cargo doors, there's a deep tint w/o defogger, and tinted w/defogger. What's the difference between deep and non-deep tint? Ones I have are kind of copperish tinted.

Deep tint is almost black and you can have privacy inside, non deep tint is just a bit greenish to filter the light but you can still see clearly inside.

Ok,thanks. I went to take a closer look at them, looked straight to sun and they are actually greenish and have "soft ray" stamped to them. Never given a second thought to them and was thinking that they were more copperish.
This was good to know because according to LMC catalog, defogger isn't available w/deep tint. Though I'm not sure I'll ever buy those, they're some $300 a piece plus shipping and taxes, I rather spend that money to a 89-91 grille. Actually, with money to spend on defogged windows, that would be half of the 5.3 LS-engine price, which is much better investment.
