Got another K-20 to use as DD it is from 76 and is really fast :p:
3.9 liter perkins inline 4 diesel no turbo .
I think the truck had a 350 engine stock.
Still got the 465-205 and 44hd 14bff.
The bed is from a 88+ truck.
Needs new waterpump and new homemade brackets for alternator and steering pump.

you should be able to get some awesome mileage with that thing! Post up a video once you have it running.

New waterpump is on the way so I can put it in there this weekend :cool1:
And yes the trailrig is on H1s as it says in my sig :wink1:

I guess it is not fast bc it only has 70hp ;)
I hope I can drive it more this weekend and try it a little.

New waterpump are in there, new brackets for PS and alternator works too.
But more water leaks behind the waterpump and the radiator is leaking too.
Drove it a little and it's very slow but I think I would be ok with it.
So now take the waterpump and some other stuff away to find more leaks.
I hope that it's not a blown headgasket.

Ronnie, on one of the under-hood pics of the Perkins, I noticed a tow strap or tie down. What's up with that?

That was for tightening the belt for the alternator and it's gone now.
Pulled from the innerfender :doah:

All waterleaks are gone now and I have worked on the frontbrakes, door handles, aircleaner, crane and some other stuff.
The first serious test drive is tomorrow.
If I'm not alone there will be vids coming your way :deal:

Awesome.

What gears does it have? Curious to see how it goes with that engine and standard 3/4 ton gears.

sweet new ride.i like the lil 4 banger diesel.that oughta get good mileage from what i hear.those perkins were good from what i read.seen a couple of people on here with them in the past.they liked em.
