Another first gen Canback top!!!?

Tonyp and I did alot of leg work and a friend of Tonyp's makes boat tops and he has made a few of these. Last I heard he was still willing to make them. Tonyp takes the orders and does the shipping once his friend makes the bikini top. I got well over 100 people saying they would be interested in the bikini top, but very few actually ordered one. Probably not more than 10-15 have been ordered. Oh well, at least they are available. I talked to Specialty Top and they were not interested in building the bikini top.
 
I will try and get some pics tonight of my new top.
Now that I went from old snap to new fasttrack my bikini top no worky. But I think I can modify it to work..if not I may need to get a new bikini top to go with my new softtop...??

I've got the fasttrac system avail. from Spec. Top. I don't have prices for it though. The bows are what I'm working on now and they seem rather easy to make, I can make the prototype out of PVC and then bend in metal, Iwant to make sure it is high enough to clear roll bars. Looking at Tonyp's top the template shouldn't be hard to make.
Haven't herd from from GMC man, don't know what he's up to, but he's the sewer. Later J.

No problem!!! Just heard back from Spec. Top. He said the alum. pc. above the windshield will cost $5. 00. Good news since we can move forward on the bikini top. Later J.

Sorry I didn' work on the bows this weekend, but I got involved in cutting my floorboards out. Later Jim
Actually a second death in the family, been a bad start to the new year!!!
2/3 of the way thru floorboards, maybe I can get back to the bows soon. Later J.
