Has anyone tried using a bench seat from the rear of a Suburban or a full sized van ,on the original tracks on a square body ?..

Reason I ask is I've seen several like new rear bench seats out of full sized vans on craigslist lately--look like no one ever sat on them!--people are using the vans for work and need to ditch the seats,or they were removed when it was new and never used, just stashed in a garage or basement, and now want them gone.....and I have an extra rear seat for my Suburban,-- the original bench seat in my pickup has seen better days..

The only thing that may be a hinderance is a van rear bench wont "fold" in most cases.so you wont be able to access things behind the seat...(and I have a ton of stuff stashed back there!)..

I actually have a pair of bucket seats from an 80 something Mercury Topaz that I mounted on a bench seat from my 77 GMC I saved when I scrapped it,they even match the maroon interior, but they stood too "straight up" and I had to put a smaller steering wheel on so my knees wouldn't hit it..they weren't all that comfortable--- though I liked having a big storage bin "console" in between them,I'm not too enthused about using those again..or going back to a smaller steering wheel..I like a bench better in a pickup..
