or should i just use 1 bar and reinforce it? if i run two should i run one on top of the other not angled or side by side?? **** i need help

shoud i weld the anti wrap bars to the axle tube or the top of the diff?

and do i need them to slip? most are just solid bars arnt they? but i do like the slip idea

is this a good setup for an anti wrap set up for offroad use?

Its ok, IMO this style is much better (first pictures.

The diff is cast iron and pretty marginal to weld to. Put the anti-wrap bar on one side or the other and make sure to weld up your axle tubes too (anti-wrap bars make it MUCH easier to spin axle tubes and 14 bolts are already susceptible to this).

If you want any flex out of your suspension, they have to slip or have a shackle at the end.

when axle wrap starts wouldn't it push the shackle forward and defeat the purpose?

It has to push the shackle up (putting it in compression) which works just fine.

The slip style is much more likely to wear out, cause grooves in the tube and eventually bind.

but theres no reason why i cant use the first style with box tubing correct?

I always thought something simple like this would work pretty well, anybody?

On a truck that will only see street duty, that will work ok (a lot of diesel drag race trucks use anti-wrap bars like that). The suspension can't articulate very far before that setup will bind.

If you want any kind of suspension travel from it, you need a shackle or some way to allow the anti-wrap bar to change length.
