anti-crush covers for tail end

i should have put this here first and since i don't know how to move threads (is that a moderator thing?) i'll put a link here. essentially need input on partial covers for tailgates and barn doors to keep them from getting dinged up as bad. or other uses ideas comments questions. thanks in advance fellas.

that would work well for the tail lights, but i'm talking about the lower part of the barn doors or tail gate.

Just how are your barn doors getting smashed up? Not from rocks are they because your bumper looks like it hasn't been touched by anything. What's the cause of the dents?

mine are from stupid po pushing the sub with another truck from behind that was taller than the sub. crush panels don't fix stupid i know, but i've seen them get dented when the wind catches them, smacking against stuff in garage, i'm sure their are many other ways. just thinking something like this would prevent the light taps from hurting so much.
