Yep, the weather is definitely screwed up right now.
And now, back to your regularly scheduled thread...
Two comments on that pic.
1) I would make it as level as possible from axle center line to end of bar pivot. Tire diameter plays in too, but you can only do so much before the compromises overwhelm the benefits. I expect that one will cause some significant jacking effects, particularly on steep climbs. The end of the bar on mine is just at or slightly below the frame rail and I have about 4" of lift in the rear. IOW, it is much flatter than that and I can still jack it pretty hard on the street in double low. But on climbs it seems perfectly neutral so far.
2) I would offset it above the axle tubes. Out here, hanging down like that will expose the bar and ends to damage as well as potentially hanging up. The lowest point on mine is just above the bottom of the axle tube.
