I have a few small rust holes in my wheel wells that id like to fill up along with making the whole wheel well nice and black like new again. How can I fix thesmall rusty holes, can I ptach them? and what do I use to get the the whole wheel wells nice and black again? spray paint?

Im at that stage where im going to be putting my whole front clip back together and would like to get the wheel wells done before I put it all back together as you could imagin.. I would like to do this to the rear wheel wells as well.

Any info would really be appreciated!! My truck still looks shetty, but I see progress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do I do...!!!!

I paint mine black time and again....makes it look good for a bit

I guess it's just like any other body work, just less critical to get it perfect. You might consider stripping them down, patching and coating with POR-15. Bedliner sure seems like a great option if somebody will take a job that small. If using spray paint, I would follow it up with the spray-on chip guard.

if you are talking about the inner wheel well just buy new ones. its cheaper in the end. last time I bought one I paid $40 per side for the front. I have never bought rear ones but they are available.

Well, I wire wheel brushed my wheel wells and got mostly all the rust off but on each front inner wheel well there is a rust spot about 4"x4". I cut it out so its a perfect square with no rust. I am preparing to paint the whole wheel well with black rustoleam but need an idea on how to patch the 4"x4" holes. Can I use a flat piece of black rubber? that seems the easiest or should I go all out and use a piece of sheet metal and weld it in? Id like suggestions on the easiest but effective method to do this please.

By the way, what do you think about me using black rustoleam (SP?) paint? will that work?
