I'm about to tackle the body work on my 89 k5. The floors, quarters and rockers need replacing. I'm having a hard time deciding how to go about this. I know everything is welded to everything else, and just about everywhere the floors meet the quarters is rotten.
My question is, should I start replacing floors first then do the quarters or er vice versa? Also, I'm assuming I'll have to fashion a temporary x style brace to support the cab while the quarters are out. Any tips or tricks to make this as painless as possible would be great.
Also, before anyone jumps on the entire body replacement band wagon, I really don't want to do that as everything forward of the doors and front seats is in great condition.
