anybodies engines bottle fed?

Some bad myths about Nitrous in this thread.

1) Nitrous isnt explosive or burns, it is pressurized in the bottle, so that makes it dangerous. but N2O itself is an oxidizer.

2) Nitrous from the speed shops usually has traces of SULFUR to keep kids from huffin it, but without the sulfur it is basically medical grade. The sulfur over time will eat up solenoids ( your talking LOTS of N2O though).

3) You must retard timing and add fuel with nitrous. I had a venom computer nitrous kit that was hooked up to the O2 sensor, injectors and TB. It was a dry system that compensated the fuel thru the computer. Car was put on dyno and proved it, infact it would richen up the more N2O I would add. It was a cool system for sure.

4) After putting Nitrous on a 99 Dodge Neon R/T im a firm believer you can add nitrous to anything. lol. I ran 8.5 in the 1/8mile with 2.1 60' in a basically stock 2.0l neon. :D The mustang guys hated me. lol
