Anybody try Corbeau seats?

i have 4 of them in my rig, i got the baja's, haven't been for a ride in them yet, but they are comfy to sit in on the garage floor, & mocked up in the cage.

I'm figuring the basic sport seats will work for me and I was going to cover them with saddleblanket covers anyway. They also sell brackets for them for a Blazer for a reasonable price and have a recline and slide/tilt function to get into the back which is nice. I'm also toying with the idea of some newer Blazer or Bronco seats from a junkyard.....

I have a set of the TRS seats. I don't have the truck completed yet, but I've fitted the seats, they seem very comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the high lip on the bottom cusion edges, while very nice for keeping you in your seat, they suck for ingress and egress. They are designed for cars, and in trucks, since your usally climbing up into your seat, as opposed to down, they are a hinderance. But I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Those high edges are a bit of a worry. They are great for the actual time you are in your seat. When I had my Bronco however, I was always sliding off the edge of the seat when I got out and it wore it down. I wonder how fast the high edge on one of those seats is going to last with the climbing in and out?

I got re-badged ones in mine. They're fine. Very comfy and recline but don't think they'd take the Baja or Paris-Dakar!! See them on my pics (follow the link on my sig)

i run the Baja SS seat from Corbeau, most comfortable chair, of any kind, Ive ever sat in. When I build my toy buggy, its getting a baja ss seat too. Thats about the best review I can give. :thumb:

Took a look at the Baja SS but they are a fixed back. I want the ability to recline and slide/tilt forward for rear access. I will be retaining the rear seat for the rugrats.

use pins to hold the seat in the rear... pull em and pivot the seats about the front mounting points. Not sure how you'd recline... bah, who needs to anyway.

Does that Chalet come with a walker, a clap on/clap off night light, a subscription to AARP, and a year supply of Viagra and Centrum Silver?........

This from a guy who was buying Janie's Ranch? Not that I wouldn't have come and helped a man in his hour of need mind you.........
