Anybody use retractables in their first gens

Any of you guys upgraded your lap belts to something a little safer?

I have an opportunity to purchase a Yukon bench seat for 260, but my kids aren't old enough for the 3pt yet so it would be the same as a seat belt coming across their car seat. Just wanted to get some opinions

It's been awhile since my son was that young but doesn't the lap belt just go on the back of the car seat etc...?

On our graco car seat the belt goes over the front of the car seat

You can use the seat belts already on the seat. No point in spending money on seat belts when it comes with some.

If you mean getting the seat or the belts, if upgrading the seats is on your list and the ones you pictured are the ones you want I'd go with the seat instead of getting the seatbelts just to upgrade your seat later. As long as you follow the instructions on how to mount the car seats it should be safe either way.
