Good luck with the guy on Ebay. If it doesn't work out maybe you can try one of the online retailers from the U.S. I know Discount Tire Direct ships international.....

Got the quotation for the shipment. FCA Philadelphia Airport cost $ 406,-!! Never ever expected it would cost that much! Now I must think if it's worth for one tire. On the other hand I won't get such a tire new here in Europe. Now I got a smoking brain...
Don't forget to factor in any taxes or duties you'd have to pay when it arrives in Austria.

okay, I have just calculated with USPS (United States Postal Service) considering the tire is 70 pounds, Economy shipment takes 4-6 weeks (would be okay for me), incl. insurance for $ 150,- it costs $ 84,- Did I do something wrong or is that correct?? If so, that would be the perfect shipment style!! But how to do...from here? The only way is I think that gmc4cw is doing that for me...

That sounds about right. USPS is about the only company left that sends things by "slow boat", so it's generally less expensive (as long as you're not in a hurry).
