that's not a CCC 'Jet, that's just one with a dual capacity accelerator pump. it supplies 12v to a temp sensor and then routes it to the 2 wire connector, which controls the accelerator pump.
The pic he has is of a CCC carb, one wire connector is the IAC motor and the other is the TPS switch.

The first year for a V/8 Vortec engine was 1996 but the 4.3 Vortec's were available before that by a few years.
