Anyone else eating V-belts..with Hydro-assist steering???

I'm burning-up V-belts...
I replaced 2 in the last 2 months..
I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same problem..
It may just be...
ALL the mud and water I'm playing with..is just the problem. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Just a shot in the dark, but you may want to check your pully alignment. Did you just recently install this?

The alignment is pretty nice...
I checked it with a straight edge..

I installed it in June.

Also I have an aluminum pulley..
I wonder if the pulley is the problem.. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Are they slipping and glazing over, or chewing up the edge?

I heard rumors that that can happen, but I've never personally seen it.

Der uh yeah I have, since the beginning. Pumps are just junk, can't wait till I get my HOWE stuff...

The belt does get glazed...it doesn't look bad really.
I don't get that much slippage..

I haven't heard anything bad about Aluminum pulleys..
Has Anyone???
