I had a K5, wanted a shortbed.
Have a shortbed, want a K5.

Lifted it, it looked cool, now it looks tiny and I want more lift.

Ahhh...Anyone else the same way or am I going nuts?

caught the bug, you're on a dangerous road there Ben, who knows what you might end up doing?

Its normal never want what ya got its never enough you start on a simple weekend project (patching rocker panels). and now your blazer is in about fifty peices in your dads garage and now your thinkin a rollcage would be a good idea. Somtimes I think drugs would have been cheaper

Yeah, I'm with ya all the way ;)
I've used this name for about 10 years now on various sites.

I'm gonna have to change my name. I cant get it from stock and keep buying parts and then deciding to sell and buy better. The rig is in pieces. lol.

good it aint just me.

For my truck i now want 35's and a NV4500 and a twin sticked 205, oh and 3/4 tons, and vortec heads. Oh and custom bumpers and a winch.:D

I am glad being broke keeps me from doing all that.

Hey, don't worry, once you get 35's like i have you'll be sayin "man i need some 38s"

it sucks lol

The love for and depth of my addiction to building my K5 and other Chevy truck(S) is as long as the Grand Canyon is long, is as tall as Mt. Everest is tall, is as deep as all the oceans are deep. Is as high as the skys are high. Only one thing is greater then all that I described, and thats the love of my son. For that my chevy's are a distant 2nd. Priorities man priorities :D.

thats why you just start out big

i'd rather eat bull dung than have tires any smaller than 39.5's, but i'm a mudder...get 44's unless you crawling the rocks

It's a slippery slope.

And the nightmare has only begun :D :p: !!

I can't ever seem to be satisfied EVER with my vehicles either.:doah:In 10 years of driving, I have had 9 different vehicles. My current build has escalated from "okay, it looks good how the P.O. set it up, I'll just add a rear locker." to: "Hmm, now the only part of the drivetrain I am going to re-use is the clutch." (it was pretty much brand new when I bought the Jimmy).:doah:

hahahaha:haha::haha::haha::haha:aint it true! just the clutch left:haha::haha:

when I bought my current k10 I put on a 3inch lift and 33s with plans of keeping it that way forever. lasted two weeks, bought 35s. they rubbed so I lifted it two more inches. got scared of breaking the rear end so now its got 3/4tons. soon it will have trimmed fenders and lockers and I want some 38s. It never seems to stop.

I just changed my mind again and currently plan on truggy 2 with all my locked drivetrain , and the K5 is being restored to a cool lifted truck with nice bumpers and open front diff .

mmmmmmm lets see I need lockers, 1 tons, FI, bumpers, cage, 39.5"s and the list goes on and on and on. :D

Dont have to tell me!! i built my blazer twice. now im thinkin bout building it again (buggy style) plus i picked up a 72 CST blazer i didnt even start yet. got an f150 w1ton running gear & big block i started building for my nephew. and got 2 75-79 chevy 4x4 parts trucks to play with. not to mention the f250 to tow the trailer & toys! plus i just bought the old lady an 08 jeep wrangler jk! (which i drive to work!!! lol)

Never. I thought 35s and 4" would be enough, now I'm planning on 38s and 2 more inches of lift. Of course by then my 383 wont be enough.....
