It gets so out of control... I was stock, wanted a 4inch lift and 33s... yeah,
then, you know I really need 35s!... oooh and bumpers, yep that will do it for a while
Then I started really wheelin it and I needed a locker and a 12 bolt rear
You know those wheels blow beads way to easy... new wheels and a rack
Now what I really need is a winch and to take the doors off
time for a front locker now
Nope, now we need 42s h1s and a one ton rear
Tired of breaking shafts, time to go one ton... might as well narrow it and do crossover steering...oh yeah my winch sucks, better get a new one
Damn I just broke my third transfer case (long story, driveshaft length, then broke centering pin, then frame flex/torque)...
You know what I need, a doubler, tripple sticks, cutting brakes, seats, a cage, hydro assist, rim protectors, ect ect ect.... thats where I am now.
The moral of the story is Damn this shiot is expensive, time consuming, and FUN... yep I said FUN... Upgrading never gets old and is like an addiction... I have already thought about links and coil overs... but no, I will need something to do next year. Enjoy the evolution of your truck and realize that the grass is always greener and you will think those 35s are HUGE until about 3 months go by and you get used to them.
