it adds a bit of weight after its all done, you end using quite a bit...its also not all that tuff on outside corners and curves and you can't paint over the scratches. I'm not saying don't do it, those are just things people don't think about. back in the day, my brother had a super duper, swing out tire carrier, stop a charging water buffalo, rear bumper on his suburban that was bedlined..That stuff was gone as soon as he drug the bumper on the first obstacle at the start of pritchett canyon. The bumper got sold as soon as he got home.
