Anyone ever built/seen a dually suburban?

yes thers one for sale here for 1500 it looks factory stock original all matching havent noticed any rust on it, looks good

theyre kinda common, ive seen a few around here

i dont have a digicam anymore sorry

its gold and brown two tone mid 80s one
thjeres a solid honey brown colored one too around somewhere here, cant remember the others,.

I have seen a few. Looks like you just take a dually rear axle and put it under the burb, then put on a set of dually flairs. Doesn't look like anything to overly complicated about the swap. Even looks kinda cool.

There was a dually burbin in the movie Twister if I remember right.

i wish, im too poor for electronic stuff, maybe in a couple or three months if something goes right in this life.,

Don;t be sorry bro. I know how it goes. I have a dig camera but its cord is 1500 miles away in storage. :( And It will cost me about $750 to go get it and all my other stuff. Gonna be a while before I get all that back... lol

I don't have any pics, but my uncle used to have one when I was a kid, it was cool. He used it to tow the race car. It was a mid 80s, pretty simple, and looked factory. :)

Cool thanks for the article links :waytogo: Also am looking for pics of burbs people have seen before (or links to ones people have found) sorta to get a pic of what it looks like for refference :waytogo:

there was a 30 series burb? I thought they only had 10 and 20 series

I've seen several!

I have seen some at drag races in the pits at Epping NH before, and at a swap meet in stafford springs CT I saw a 1972 suburban with TANDEM rear axles!! (one was just a dummy trailer axle),but it was cool, the guy added another rear wheel openning and stretched the burb 4 feet!..I wished I had my camera with me,but I didnt...I've also seen a few chevy vans with dualie axles, and one tandem one at a lobster resteraunt near me from nevada, the guy was on vacation!...I guess GM missed the boat by not building them factory, seems to be a fairly popular swap in this area too...
