anyone ever use this 14B disc kit?

I didn't use his kt, but that is the guy that I got my levers for the caddy calipers from, they are pretty easy to deal with.

Only thing I don't like is the pipe spacers. DOM, tube, whatever.

Other manufacturers make plate spacers and/or weld them to the bracket proper. I know Blackbird Customs' kit has them 'cuz that's what I bought back when I was too lazy/n00b to piece it together myself.

ORD makes 'em as two pieces:

Make sense? Other than that, the kits aren't gonna vary much.

i think there is a set on my 14 bolt but i didnt put them on there...they were like that when i bought my axles...it has had discs for a long time though and i know they were bought off ebay thats all i know..

I posted this same question up a while back but the kit with the caddy calipers and most people gave a worm reception but some of the more knowledgable guys thought one could put a kit together cheeper by sourcing all the parts seperately. I like the kits because of my time and energy and lack of knowledge on finding the right parts and then having to possibly rebuilding the junk yard calipers myself. I'll see if I can attach the my earlier post. If you get it post up your thoughts and pics.

i used the skyy mfg brackets, iirc they were 95 bucks. as far as the kit stuff goes, it's all stock chevy 3/4 ton stuff other than the rear hoses...1979 chevette i used. run to your local parts house and price it up. i think i had less than $250 total when i did mine!
