Anyone find a better power steering pump bracket for 6.2D?

My 85 broke once before. I had it welded up. Looked great. Today I hear a weird noise when I turned off the ignition. Under the hood I found that the top and driver's side "ear" are broken.

Mine is on a M1009 blazer, and I'm sure it's going to be a tough part to source. Already I have erad that the part is prone to such breaks.

Has any out there fabbed one up to a beefier standard, or used an alternate part?

I have a '90 civvy K5 with the 6.2 and never had an issue with the P/S bracket. Wonder if there is a difference between the civvy version and CUCV versions? Might be worth looking into this.
