Anyone have a part number for bilstien 5100 stabilizer d60 stock location?

Ok update, finally squirreled enough time to pull off the conversion of the 24-158848 bilstien 5100 damper on my stock Dana 60. It took some persuasion to get the old spacer and shaft of the new unit. Had to grind the head off the washer and press both out.
The old stabilizer that may be just a shock in not sure only had a long spacer on the tie side and a stock shoulder bolt mount on the axle. They came right out.TTie rod was not tapered. Pressed the new shoulder bolt into the one end after drilling the rubber bushing out to 9/16". Used what new washers I had and made a spacer to go over the sleeve on the tie side. (I know it's not like me not to replace all hardware but I'm trying to break my OCD)
I still have full sweep after a test but I haven't driven it yet for a report on the road manners. I'm sure it'll be good

Oh trust me I cringe every time I look at it and it was completely my plan to get an ord cross over kit during the sale but I couldn't swing it:angry1::poop: But thanks I'm stoked to steal the new 5150s off the k5 now, stay tuned that's gonna be good for the k5! :burnout:

Says it's for a ferd. Also single dampening? Have you used this?

Doesn't it HAVE to be dual dampening.? I'm taking it as single means only in one direction. Some factory setups have 2 I thought... Which that would work for. With one pointing each way from center.

The square body ones being single have 50/50 valving iirc... :dunno:

Yes the single dampers are different from shocks as in they dampen in both directions.

I just assumed the 'Single dampening' part meant it was like a 90/10 valving for putting one both ways.. but I kind of get the 'single dampener' part now lol. It's too early I guess :D

I always thought shocks dampened in both directions so it is confusing

Small market, way more bro dozers in late model fords
I saw one today, giant wheels with just a band of rubber on them sticking way way out. Pulled up behind him and thought to myself "excuse me, your calipers are showing". Then when I ended up at a light next to him, I swear those are 8" blocks on his rear axles! Didn't know such a thing was made! That can't be safe. They were painted blue too. Like hey look at me, I'm stupid with a smile.
