Anyone have experience with panel mirrors?

I'm talking about using one of these in the blazer, since I can't hardly see anything around me and most of my rear vision is blocked by my spare tire. Anyone have a good brand I should be looking at? Maybe one with actual glass in it.

What ya'll think?

They work great. While I have never personally owned one, I had a few friends that had them in their cars in the early 90's. Mainly VW's, both air cooled and water cooled cars. From the few times I was in the drivers seat, I could see everything. I think the only problem I can foresee is that you have too much to look at which might be distracting. Didn't Nascar use them for awhile as well?

I use a "Lanechanger". works excellent. I can see everything behind me (in front of B pillars on around)

I have one in my k10. I like them, I will be getting one for the k5 also.

don`t do it the glass vibrates out after a couple years,and will play surprise surprise and drop and either cut or scare the **** out of you when your wheeling.
