I need to know where to mark/scribe the lines at in order to cut out so much sheet metal.

Anyone got any leftover instructions or remember how much to cut out? Where to mark, etc.

Any reason you couldn't hold them up to the body and trace around the inside? I've got a set without any directions. That's how I planned to install them.

When I did mine on my old truck, started cutting bout 2" in, then test fitting the flare till the body lines lined up. Even if you cut too much, the flare will cover it.

Nothing gets cut on the top of the wheel opening, only front and rear. I seem to remember cutting 2" on the front and 3" on the rear of the front fenders. Use the top of the wheel opening to locate it, and the flare as your template for cut lines. Then a little :hack:& :grind:

I probably should have had it all together. It's only been about 8 years since I bought them!

i held mine up to the fender and traced.. this way i could move it around and see where i wanted it....

The instructions literally tell you to line up the flare on the body and trace it. The top of the wheel opening does not get cut at all.
