Anyone have pics of a open carrier??

I just saw the post in IDing the 14bff detroit and I was just thinking I never looked at mine and the I realized I dont know what a open one looks like. Anyone have any pics of a open one??

see that hole on the bottom left of the ring gear and open carrier has 4 and an gov loc has 3.

Isn't that a Gov-Loc in the pic?? All opens I have sen have openings where you can see the spiders like the other two carrier pics...

Yep, this pic is a Gov Lock. It's easy to spot by the smooth cone shape tapering towards the pass side carrier bearing. Those 2 round cut outs repeat 3 times going around the carrier, through those you can see part of the clutch plate. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

yes it's a gov loc, it was the only picture I could find.
