I'm looking to use those same brackets in the rear of my truck too, since my 3 year old "booty fab" mounts finally gave out. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'd prefer to give my money to a "member" than to my local Ford parts counter, so reply (or PM me) a price and if you are interested in helping me out.

1980 Ford F-250 Shock Towers
Part number E5TZ-18183-A

Thanks!

Without even trying too hard, I can find Ford parts houses online selling them for $10.34 ea....

Maybe I should start re-selling them at $15 too??? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I paid $40 for the last set I bought after shipping, that's a steal!

Link:

Ford Parts Direct

Just select "Ford" as the make and plug in "E5TZ-18183-A" as the OEM Part #

I'm going to do the complete "checkout" and see if they add a bunch of expensive shipping or handling charges...... /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Moved this because I would like only power sellers to start threads in that forum. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

No kidding. $2 worth of steel, $11 for the part, list is like $20.

We could get a better price than that..
We would have to buy a coil of steel.. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I bet yah...we could make about 20 parts a minute!!! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Hey Greg, what about the Ford towers that are cast? Remember seeing them on that green K5 w/502 in Moab.
The cast ones looked way stronger??dunno if they are but they 'look' stronger??
Do you remember what I'm talking about?

Yes I do, but those would only be great if they happened to be the size you wanted. Not so easy to "cut them down" to fit, which is what I was planning to do.

The rear shock setup I'm planning will require me to cut off probably 2/3 of the stock Ford bracket.... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
