Thought I remembered reading somewhere that someone was making the bearing hubs but what about the pinion carrier?

There are 9" Ford carriers offered all over out there but wondered if there were any for the 14FF?

Maybe as an option for some 14bff he's rebuilding to sell. :dunno:

Here's a pinion support, but it's part of a kit so I don't know if it only fits their housing or a standard one too. Maybe they'll sell it separately if you call them.

Nailed it.

Mud runs are the rage in my area now and I'm looking to build these axles to sell to the guys who run them and where mud runs are concerned they like things light in weight.

So the lighter the parts, the better. I'm looking into aluminum bearing hubs, pinion carrier support, diff cover and swapping a few carriers out for a full spool. And disc brakes of course.

I see 5 and 6 lug 14FF bearing hubs out there on the market but would like to see 8 lug, too.

Too expensive. Redneck town means only a limited budget for these guys.

But your looking for billet hubs and pinion housing :thumb:
The added cost of going 40 spline won't work here when the guys would rather spend upwards of $2K for a built rear rather than $4K.

That and stock 30 spline shafts are very, very plentiful here if something were to happen.
