I just checked diy 4x4 and it seems he shut it down… anyone have an extra set? Or know anyone making knock offs? Looking for the rear shackle flip kit too.

Check through these

Ruff stuff
Offroad Design
Hogback Fab

I shaved the rivets off, relocated and drilled, and reused the originals pushed forward
On the front? I didnt realize you could use the originals with the rear springs. Do you have pics?

Well not in the phone or build thread I guess. It’ll have to wait until morning

There’s a write up here in the ancient texts section
Your making me feel old….

FWIW, I did not do anything to the rear hanger for the front spring, sometimes called a FUSH. I put new bushings in it and rocked it

What a damn good write up.

CFM Industries has a multi position front hanger (like B52 but without the body mount).

Guys I may have ran into a problem my front spring hangers are not the same as a K5 apparently. I assumed they were as I was working on a k5 and now a 1975 k10. The front spring hangers seem completely different with two assemblies riveted together. I wanted to wait before chiseling them off, and see what the word was here first. Are these just the same mod ie: cut rivets, drill new holes and move up 2”?

The k10 seems much shorter on the front leaf hanger area than on the k5.

Any expertise or a point in the direction of what diy 4x4 used to make that replaced that section. I’d be grateful. I’ve checked the other sites mentioned but nothing for the front.

I ask because the k5 seems to have enough area and even pilot holes already in place. This doesn’t however.

just curious why you want to go to 52s up front?

I've known a couple of guys that did it and weren't happy with the results. lots of guys on here have talked about more body sway on the highway with the 52s up front.

It’s not body sway, it’s spring sway
I had 3 leafs in the back and could go 80 down the highway
Also k10
