Anyone near Orange County, CA, to look at a truck for me? - Update, it arrived!

I am wondering if there is anyone out there who wants to go look at a truck for me? I'm in VA, and there is a what appears to be good truck in Orange County CA. Can I get a brother to go check this thing out, give it a good one over, take lots of pics, and maybe take it to a shop to be inspected?

More detail on location would be good. It is a big county.
You also may want to post in the SoCal section.
 
im gunna admit, when i started reading this post i laughed my ass off..
then when i got to the end about "someone taking it to a shop", i pretty much got angry with the op, feeling that this was the (tallest order i have ever seen anyone place)
but when i started reading the replies, i realized that there are alot of generous peoples out there.

wow....

to tack on $1500 delivery fee for freight, i figured all you CA guys are spinning yer wheels.

And I'm more than happy to compensate folks if that helps, I know time is valuable, especially if it comes down to taking it to a shop or the likes. :)
 
no no, Mr. JJ will have to come out and get it himself, then either drive it home or have it shipped. For now, with enough eyes looking the truck over, AND BE SERIOUS ABOUT PURCHASING, maybe we can, given time, come up with something nice.

get those pictures and look over it 1000x for yourself, be serious about and then we'll help out. Currently I'm unemployed, looking for work and trying to finish blazer, so you've kinda caught me at a good (for you) time. I hope someone else can also join in.

There's alot of great guys here that are more than willing to go out of their way to help somebody else.

What will you be doing out here? My schedule is insane right now, but I may be able to break out for a bit. It will have to be a game time call.

I have a client there off placenta sp?. I visit them every 6 months to make sure they are okay and fix things as needed.
 
Ok, turns out it is still for sale. The guy deleted the ad, and then posted a new one, so that was my mistake. He is sending me pics. If they pass muster then I'll update this thread to hire one of you guys! :D
 
Just make sure the guy doesn't see your list in the sticky thread. That's gonna scare him away....
