Anyone near Orange County, CA, to look at a truck for me? - Update, it arrived!

31.5"x16s (measure out to 31.5)
35x16 would be nice
mine are some no name bfg a/t wanna bees, but they ride really nice doing 85 on the freeway, predictable, and quiet.

See, I told you the brotherhood could/would help you out with taking a look at a rig for you. :thumb:

I'm amazed, quite frankly. So many other sites I visit are full of jerks and idiots, it's nice to see there are good folks out there!

Update from the dead. The truck arrived today. It is in great shape, but for some reason the rear window won't roll down now. :doah: Probably from being bounced around across country.

I'll have to get in there and fix that, clean those carpets, sell those monster tires, and I should be good to go. It needs an alignment too, and I think I am going to replace the muffler as it's pretty loud, but otherwise it looks great.

Thanks to mnstrburbon again for checking it out!

P.S. I can't believe I bought a truck (a) from Craigslist (b) without looking at it and (c) had it shipped from the west coast and (d) it all worked out fine! :pimp:

The reason it all worked out is because a CK5 brother was involved. :thumb:

You got that right. One plus is that it has a fairly new stereo with a 3.5mm headset input, so I can hook up my cell phone now and stream Pandora right to the stereo.

I already ordered new keys from LMC, along with a clear dome light lense and LED bulb.

Oh, it actually has the original factory booklet in the glove box. Cool! :D

sweet story
I give you a week and we all expect some kind of pictures. Poser, trail, mall, tear down, or such. You did read the fine print on the deal right? :)

Ha, I can do pics per the Colorado K5 fine print! :D I have to get it registered and get a plate on it first so give me a few days what with the holiday and all.

For reference, I used Magic Carpet Auto Transport:

http://www.magiccarpetautotransport.com/

They were a little more expensive ($150? $250?) than some other carriers, but they had by far the best reviews. I put them through hell, too, since the seller did not have title so I had to cancel THREE TIMES. One time I canceled the night before it was going to be picked up. They didn't give me any grief or charge me any penalties or anything unusual. And it was scheduled to take 10 days to get here, but arrived in just 7 so that was extra cool.

They were friendly, on the ball, nice, all that. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Was it as expected, i have not been following every post did you get a different blazer?
Oh I bought it. I started a new thread here:

There were only a few issues - the back window did not work, but I used the cable from my other truck to fix that. Heater does not work correctly, but it looks like the fix is easy enough. Total cost to fix is $0 so I'm pleased.

Now if I could just get someone to buy those 35" tires (yes, they are listed in the classifieds, make me an offer!) I would be thrilled!
