Im trying to find some nice bright LED bulbs that go in the existing dome lights, the middle and the back. Im going to replace the underdash one with a complete LED system..

Also is has anyone found any CLEAR dome light covers?

AHh theres a cool site that sells them they even have the side marker lamps for our trucks, the ones on the front of the fenders but cant find the site.

Those are some nice lights. Back in late high school and college, I painted the inside of the plastic light cover red to match the paint for some mood lighting, if you know what I mean. I had a mattress in the back of my burb for yrs. I used it many, many times!! Those were the good days! The red light was perfect, not to bright. I will have to order a couple of these lights, and get my wife back there!!!

I like the idea. Just last week my friend's young son burnt his finger on the rear dome light in my Suburban (cover has been lost). I felt pretty bad about it. The LED light should stay cool to the touch.

I'm slowly changing everything on the Blazer to LEDs... Already did the tail and cabin lights...

Also looking at LEDs for the bus...

You might check out the Trucker places... My neighbor went crazy on his Semi with LEDs... Got some nice ones for cheap, just have to look around...

Hadnt thought about the vehicle lights in LED, i am redoing my dash lights with blue LED's, Ill make a thread about it if it works. I drive a jetta and love the blue guages with red lights. The Blue LEDs light up the guages and make the orange needles flourese... florese.... flore... **** it, they freaking glow. so they are really easy to see. just havent gotten around to it yet. but the dang peanut bulbs keep burning out and are hard to see anyway. might have to look into all these other LED options for the rest of the truck.

munepit: thank you very much, ordering now

K5dreamer: in my build thread I have "cool white" in my autometer gauges. They are going to look differenet then stockers but it might give you an idea.
