as the titlte says does anyone run a sway bar on there hitch???ive been thinking about it but dont know that it would really help..

My parents used to have one on there 16' single axle travel trailer that they towed with my K5. It helped keep the sway down alot on that old heavy camper.

I use them all the time when towing campers or large enclosed trailers. Never had a need for them with any of my car trailers though.
I actually just put a dual setup on my newest camper because it sits at 12.5ft tall and 29 ft long, so there is alot of surface for the wind to toss it around.

I run one on my deckover trailer when it is empty. when there is a weight on it and properly loaded I don't see a difference. But my trailer is a unique situation. anything you can do to make your trailer track better is a good idea.

I installed one on a 7K trailer I used to have for towing my one ton K-5 because @ 7K GVW, it was maxed out.

It made a huge difference and made towing easy.

Upgraded to a 10K trailer recently but kept the sway control simply cause it works.

A properly loaded trailer shouldn't really ever be a problem but having run these systems for a couple years now, I'll probably always run em.
