From what I've been seeing they seem decent ? They'll be going on a stock fresh 350 tbi motor. I'm just wondering if they're a noticable improvement on a stock motor ? They're cheaper than vortecs and a manifold.
I want a 300hp 400tq on the low end I'm just not sure which way to get there. My K5 is never gonna have more than 33 A/T and only sees mild off roading and light pop up camper towing. I would like to stay with the tbi and just do EBL tuning (which I haven't bought yet) .
165s are plenty of head for wanting low end grunt on a 350ci with a smaller cam. In fact the smaller heads will help push you towards that torque goal sooner in the rpm range.
I've got a crap load of new suspension parts ,tires wheels and various other spare K5 parts .
