i have an 87 3/4 ton with 4" lift springs. will the 52 flex alot better or should i just get some longer shackles and move the shackle mount forward for better droop? really looking to fully stuff 39.5 already have fenders cleared.

Here is a guy on here, i think his s/n is mikah, any way he has 52" springs up front. I believe he is running 42" TSL tires too.

Here's mine partially flexed out.... It could have went more than that.

Stock 52's > Stock length lift springs.

Shock pictured above are 15" travel procomp es9000 that I do not have anymore. Running 14" travel Fox's with a limit strap on pass. side to save the driveshaft (learned the hard way). 52's flex more than a 1350 cv running a doubler.

Since this thread is already started, I'll hi-jack a little. Is there any danger of the original shackle mounting hole in the frame cracking since the bracket isn't bolted there anymore. I was thinking about plating over the original hole inside and outside the frame when I did my 52" install. Any harm or any reason?

for comparison... Citizenrider's k5 on no name brand 6" lift stock lengths with the shackle mount moved with 38s

With the 52" lift springs you wil lose a little flex because the springs are stiffer.
