Just curious on who has done this, i did this a few months ago and my starter chewed up my flywheel... just wondering if anyone else had any trouble, and did you swap the auto starter for the manual starter?

I'm not sure if this applies to the GM diesel blocks as Ive never had one (but want one), but you generally have to shim the starter on a SBC (regardless of wether its an auto or manual) so the same thing doesn't happen.
