93 chevy pickup (with the mechanical pump), 8 lug axles, NV4500 granny gear, clutch pedal assemblies, and sounds like he still has the 6.5 engine (threw a rod) which should include the turbo and everything.

its like a grab bag of upgrades for a M1009 diesel. just wish i had the cash and space for it :doah:

afterthought... would the front clip and bumpers from the 93 bolt onto the blazer? and the tailgate? ive been debating going soft top, and replacing the blazer tailgate with a pickup version. (blazer one is splitting at the corners).

He is dreaming if he thinks he is gonna get $3500 for that, in that condition. Maybe if it had a decent running 6.5 and it wasn't half torn apart.

yeah, thought it was a bit steep, but these things are pretty rare around here, so not a whole lot to compare it to.

as a negociating tool, wadda yall think of these prices?

NV4500 trans - $1000?
3/4 ton axles (guessing) - $400?
Clutch pedal assemblies - $200?
6.5TD engine - $500? (depends on the condition of the block, if its useable)
6.5TD turbo setup - $500?

so, just five of the components would be worth around $2600, then there is the rest of the truck, fenders, hoods, bumpers, cab, bed, etc. etc. If i could get a decent enough deal on it, id be tempted to buy it, strip it, and part it out. then scrap the frame and leftover parts. sell the 3/4 ton axles, and recoupe some of the purchase price. I wonder what TC is in it...

Probably has an np241 in it.....least thats what I think would be in it. As for the front clip, no it wont bolt onto the k5. Cab & all is different, if it was a 91 square style it would, but not the 88-98 style.

A guy I knew off a local site bought a 94 with 4L80E, 6.5TD 6 lug 3/4 ton, so it had the 6 lug 14 bolt rear. Overal shape was decent, although it did need cab corners because they were just starting to bubble.

Engine was partially dis-assembled. He gave $800 for it. I re-assembled the top end stuff...mostly IP and intake stuff. All the small parts were there thankfully. We added a new PMD and heat sink. Engine had a knock. :doah:

Ya pays yer money, ya takes yer chances...

At $800 I don't think he can go wrong. You'd have to be exceptionally lucky to recoup the $3500 out of that one, which is why I say it's just not a good deal. At $1500 I'd start to waver, at $1000 I'd buy it.

oh shnikies forgot about the IFS. well, never hurts to offer him $800 and see if hell take $1000 :) just means the truck is gonna miss going to the body shop again. but for all the components to do the NV4500 swap, and the 6.5TD engine with turbo components, it would be worth it for me at that point. maybe put the 6.2/th400 into the pickup and sell it like that ;) put the 6.5TD and NV4500 into my truck :)

what you thinkin ?

new body style so pedels wont fit old body.

tcase output on driverside.

atleast the rear is full floater.

oh damn... i wasnt thinkin... this is why i post my crazy hair brained thoughts on here before i do them. one part amusment for yall, two parts so you can smack me in the head and tell me not to do it :D
