apology for hippy comment

there won't be any emissions tests or strict gun laws in my county, I promise. No joke, the sherrif's debuty is a pot farmer, and the local police drop off hookers for kickbacks. This county is full of corruption, but they let people do whatever they want. And my burb never came with a cat. I personally wouldn't remove one from a vehicle that was equipped with one, but I'm just saying that everyone I know has, and no one seems to care.

 Do we always have to rag on Cali? Cali has plenty of good things, great weather (what the heck is snow?) yet we can be to a variety of locations in a matter of hours. Beach, desert, mountains, snow (that's where it went), etc. So yeah I understand some of the downsides that you guys bring up but for the most part it's a great place to live.

I agree, like living here but the politicians are a joke and the housing market is ridiculous. Great weather, beautiful beaches and great riding/wheelin areas. As long as the hippies dont take them away.

lol, funny you mention that my sister is one year ahead of me in school (making her a senior this year) and she's going to Abilene, Texas for college next year. Just another Californian headed to your state!

I cant believe how closed minded alot of you are about Californian people and that they might take over your towns. I grew up in Idaho in the backwoods and loved it (still own property there) but moved to Cali when I was about 11. I love California for alot of reasons like weather, girls, etc but I do understand that it has alot of drawbacks also and just for the record I own plenty of guns and drive a big blazer around as a daily driver. I think you should blame the politicians that run Cailifornia before you blame the people because the ones that are moving from here are most likely the people like me who are just trying to make a better life for themselves. I would love to stay in Caifornia but I cant afford to pay a million dollars for a stinkin track home and I Dont really want to learn to speak spanish to be able to buy a freakin burger at Burger King. So do me a favor when I move to your town and you see a California license plate, DONT CALL ME A HIPPY.:D

As long as she's cute, it's cool.

Shall I stir the pot?

of course Cali sucks, so does Texas, South Carolina, and yep Idaho, and .... how can't they they are in good ol' US of A!

Just jokin. Half my family lives down there. I've seen more of the US then I have my own country.

yep I think that should stir it up!!! By the way where all the tech , this is the garage right????

I think everywhere that doesn't pledge allegience to me is a hippy place. :haha:

If I could find some nice trails for my truck here in NH it would be perfect. No luck so far, just little tidbits. I'd love to know of a trail that took a few hours to get down and there was a nice lake to camp at at the end. In the winter it snows so I can go wheelin in that, or go snow mobiling. PLENTY of great fishin holes, hunting in the winter, and it gets up to about 100 in the summer if you like heat. Personally I'd never have it be hotter than 75...

Right now the only place I know I don't like is MA... too bad I have to go there once a week to drag my girl out...

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the "people" the one electing the politicians?

I've lived in Tejas all my life and have been to central Cali twice. The redwoods are totaly kickass and the mountains are so-so, New Mexico's are mo betta. I saw way too many people with mohawks and my cousins took me to some restaraunt where a "not straight" guy danced on the tables. Not to mention it was like 60 ****ing degrees in the middle of July. Wtf is that yall call that nice weather?

I'll take my rednecks, mexicans, and 110 degree heat over cali any day. Its a nice place to visit though.

60* in the middle of July, gay folks dancing on the tables?!? Where did you go? Sure there are some strange things that happen around here but you must have been to the "other" Cali. :doah: Had you been drinking with the "not straight" folks?

Have you seen what we have to choose from. I mean really the F---ing Govenator or some idiot who wants to give all the illegals drivers licenses. Just be happy that you live in a place that reflects they way you feel. Trust me I love California for what it has to offer but your full of sh-t if you say that where you live is perfect and has everything you ever wanted, because if that was the case then it would be a lot more crowded.

i didnt mean to offend anyone by what i said, i am just frustrated beacause i love my truck and have big plans for it, i should not have hastily judged the fine citizens of california, i was born and raised there afterall! can i get a reply?

apolgy accepted.

For those that do not love the california (at least the northern half), good cause it is probably better off with-out you.

the political problems we have here in california are the same everywhere the lefties have large populations of poor people to brainwash. i really think the biggest problem in california is its public school system and the "liberals" who have infested it.
the high taxes on everything and all the revenue generating laws imposed on us for our own good. (no smoking at the beach, seatbelts, .08 bac intoxicated limit on an adult in peak physical condition, helmets, gun laws...) i don't know what i would do without the man protecting me all the time.
the weather is great, its almost never humid. 8-9 months a year the temperature is near 70F+/-.
i always meet better women from out of state but i think that goes back to the f****d up public schools.
in the next 10 years i'll take my million dollars from the sale of my house and find a state with good fishing and mellow out.
