would a rear driveshaft from a K5 with 241 t-case and 10 bolt rear, fit a K5 with a 208/12 bolt?

The length should be the same. U joint might be different. Part number for bastard ujoint at autozone is 3-3130

yeah, I thought I saw somewhere that the u-joint is different for the 10/12 bolts, spicer 1310 vs 1330 but I wasn't sure so I thought I'd ask

what about the output from the t-case? 208 vs 241.......

10/12 bolt use different u-joint sizes. ALL GM rear t-case outputs are 32 spline.

Don't believe rear 10-bolts ever used either the 1310 or 1330 (at least not commonly). All of the auto trans equipped trucks I've seen had the Saginaw S44/3R, which is very similiar in size to the 1330 but uses internal c-clips versus the 1330 external clips. I have seen 10-bolts in manual equipped trucks that had 1350's.

Most of the 12-bolts I have seen had 1310s, so you will likely need the 1310 to 3R/S44 conversion joint.

My 84 k5 had the driveshafts out of a 77 that went to a 10bolt instead of the 12 that it came out of... I memorized that part number cause I broke that thing like 8 times :(
