Are Chevy 75 C20 and GMC 79 C3500 rear assm. the same

Are the rear end assm. (housing, axles, center section, spring perches) The same on a 1975 Chevy C20 3/4 ton (two wheel) 14 bolt and a 1979 GMC C3500 1 ton dually (two wheel). I figure the brake drum hubs, brake shoes, and the backing plate are different, but is the rest the same.

Is the 79 a cab & chassis or a pick up? If it's a pick up it should have a extra wide D70HD, if a c & c is should be a narrow 14 bolt.

79 C3500 GMC is a pick up. Crew cab.

75 C20 Chevy is a straight pick up
