I'm bolting in my motor mounts to the truck, since I took it apart so long ago, I can't recollect if the bolts that hold the clamshell motor mount to the frame pad are supposed to be 3/8" or 7/16"?
The 7/16" fit, but the 3/8" would give it a little more play, since those holes are really somewhat slotted, for ease of dropping in the engine. I've got bins of various sizes of Grade 5 and grade 8 hardware, I just can't remember what those bolts are, I wanna say 3/8", and I'm sure they'd be enough to hold it down, but just trying to put it back together the way it came apart....
