Are these for trailer wiring?

Those look like the power tailgate connectors to me.
aah, that's quite possible. Mine started with a power tailgate and had been converted to manual at some point in it's life.
the trailer wiring should be the typical yellow/brown/green/black. If a 7 way powered harness..Blue/red/white also, but I don't think these years had the powered harness.
The trailer wiring usually plugs into the taillight harness near the DS, which I think is shown in the background of your picture. That has 4 wires. The heavy wires indicate tailgate window.
