are Tuff Country EZ leafs true sized?

I had some 33's on my 91 suburban with the factory rally wheels 15x8. Half ton truck with 1.5" add a leaf in front and 2" blocks in back. Minimal rubbing around town. I will try and post some pics later....

I personally like about a 9" or even a 8" rim for that tire size. The 10" seems to be too much rim protruding out on that smaller tire. Some don't think its a big deal at all but it just bugged me. If I go down from 35's to 33's, I will definitely look into the smaller 15" rim. I did originally have 33's and 9" rims at stock height.....minimal rubbing on the street. 2.5" lift would be nice I'd think.

That's great you like a 9" rim, but go out and try to find a 15x9 rim. The only common 9" wide rim out there is in a 17.

Wow! That is great. That is how I would like to get mine setup. Is that a factory roll bar in the back?

I'm not sure I understand what the backspacing is. Does a type of backspacing allow for large tires to be fitted?

Looks like you also have the original buckskin passenger seat.

Do you have any driveline/ vibration issues? Did you lower the tcase? Did you get new drivelines made?

backspacing is very important, it determines how the wheel is centered on the hub and can effect wether the tire clears the fenders or not.

I believe the front wheel opening is actually a little smaller on the 70s fenders.

That's definitely a factor. I was lucky many years ago and found a 15x9 Progressive wheel that I really liked. Worked out great but the company is now gone.....

15x9 Progressive rims, 33x12.5 tires, no lift. These are the only 2 electronic versions of my blazer when I had it 15 years ago......

wow that is a nice looking Blazer, I see thats the same rack thats on your Burb.

I want to run Toyo MT 33x13.50x15 on 15x10's, what size lift should I get and how much backspacing on the wheels?

The tires are 33.1" tall with an overall width of 13.9" so tell me if this is even feasible with minimal lift, no trimming whatsoever, swaybar connected.

well, i'm not apposed to to an add a leaf or a 3 leaf pack cause my 2 leaf pack seems too soft and I have a lot of body roll... course maybe my shocks are crapped out...:dunno:

88...i think you'd need at least a 10" rim for that monster. when you say minimal lift i'll assume you mean like the 3" from your other threads. i only know what i've done, but i can't see that working without some good trimming. if you backspace the rims too much you be really reducing you turning radius by hitting inside front and back.......perhapse someone has done this and can offer real advice. i sure wouldn't want to drive that tire in the snow and ice.

that Toyo looks very close to these Coopers

If you get the 3" TC Easy Ride kit get the rear springs too. For a K5 it has 3" front springs and 4" rear springs to keep it from sagging. I ran that kit for several years and it rode great. I am still running the front springs and they are about 8 years old. They are pretty hammered now due to being put into negative arch a few to many times. With a little trim on the front I was running 37" tires on 8" wide wheels. I prefer 8" wheels for a 12.5" tire because when off road and crawling curbs it's less likely to have something hit the rim lip.

Thanks, thats why I am asking for help on backspacing for a 10" and if these will even fit with just a 3" TC EZ lift. I just really want that deep look for the wheels and since I wont be running a tall tire I would like a fat tire to offset that. Kinda hard to explain but I have this look in my head but not sure if I can make it happen. Wonder if that wheel guy can make a 9" wide wheel.

Thanks, I just ordered that 3" TC EZ all spring kit.
Did you use a drop pitnam or raised arm with that setup?
