Well, I can't say that I have driven with one, just been in three different rigs with them and my own personal experience with the B&M really was the icing on the cake.

maybe jerks, but best shifter in the business! i will not be buying any tranny stuff after hearing tim's story. but the shifters are 1st class. i bought the megashifter. after 100 miles i pulled it and put in the art carr /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif
 
That style shifter is definitely the hot item, I can't recommend anything more, but I sure won't get it from them anymore.

After dealing with you on a business level and getting a feel for you and the way you do business, I must Say AC must be garbage company to deal with. You have always been very diplomatic in your dealings. You have always given the benefit of doubt and always been reserved to make sure you never wrongfully accused anybody of mis dealings. You have always been extremely professional when I have done business with you in the past. You are on the very top of my list of businesses to refer my friends to, like Chuck here in Atl and the multitudes of others I have steered your way in posts over the years because of the good dealing I have had with you and the products you sell.

You are a real rarity these days in the way you go above and beyond to treat your customers with respect. If there is a problem you do not hesitate to make it right.

Its a real shame AC can't take a page from your impeccable business ethics and learn that treating their customers like crap is a sure way to ruin their business. Its a real shame they didn't pull their heads out of the keister long enough to realize how well known and respected you and your company are and instead chose to treat you the way they did.

Thanks for the heads up. I was in the market for a shifter and I can guarantee it will not be bought from AC.
 
Do I need to go down to Abilene and have a "Come to Jesus" meeting with Art Carr people? I knew you had told me that you got screwed before, but I never knew the details. You know Stephen, it's only right down the road from Lubbock...

I'll keep ya advise. How far is Abilene from Lubbock? I'm probably not too far to initiate a good ole country ass whupp'in on those ole boys if they decide to put the screw job on me.......

So, Bubba have you gotten anything yet? My shifter came in yesterday. Seems to be of good quality even tho the box was thrashed by ups. It did take 21 days to arive but I wasn't in a hurry. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
 
i ordered mine sans console about 2 weeks ago. they told me they where 2 weeks behind... hope to see it by the end of the week.. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Nothing yet. Think I'll give them a call tomorrow.............

They did tell me it would be awhile because I ordered the console and told them to hold the shifter until the console was ready also.

It's gonna be awhile before mine goes in. I did find fun in playing with it though, just like a little boy in the bath tub.............
