Art Carr

They are badass!!! I just need to install my reverse valve body!!!! :doah:

I currently have a B/M Prostick,,,worked OK, but the reverse lockout is a PITA.
Sometimes requires two hands,,one to squeeze the shift lever release and one to flip the little reverse lock out tab.

I just took the Art Carr out of the box and it blows away the B/M for quality and smoothness....:bow::bow::bow:

Builds a badass shifter...:bow::bow::bow:
That is all......

It's pretty bulletproof... :wink1:

with my 700 it works well if you remove the top gate on the right.. can't wait to put it back in with the manual valve body.... :bow:

i wish I had the money when I bough my B&M sport shifter cause it blows ass. There is no lockout from park to reverse and the detent isn't strong enough. Im affraid its gonna bump into reverse all the time.

The art car feels like a million bucks in your hand, like running your fingers over smooth paint, or cupping just the right size..

sorry where was I?

Anyways...makes the driving experience in the buggy compare to banging gears with the shifter at the arcade video games...and half the time you were just pretending and out of quarters! Its that good!:bow:

I got one when they were having a $199.99 sale, I love my Art Carr shifter. :D

now with the Art Carr, can you use it with a transmission that has a standard valve body? or do you have to have the manual valve body for it to work?

You can run either. You just have to change the sticker. (I think)
If not, you can order the shifter in a standard pattern.
I love mine. I don't have to take it apart to clean the sand out of it like my buddy does with his B&M Pro Stick.

I have one on my list. Art Carr was building quality transmissions and stuff when I was a teenaged street racer - in the late 60s. Nothing's changed.
