well, here she is...i paid just over 6k for her and i included a picture of the little bit of rust on the truck(the ONLY RUST) and i just wanted to see what ya'll thought. it's got 15k miles on the rebuilt(new gauge when installed) and was bored and stroked(paper work included) with a mild cam. it has ice cold a/c and everything works...wipers, door locks, etc. the only thing it needs is a pass. window motor since the current one is really really really slow. auto shifts awesome and has a tranny cooler. it's rollin on 38x15.50x15 mud grapplers and i love this damn truck!!!!! traded my 01 Z71 for it(used the equity)

well, let me know what you think...

nice, as for the rocker, I would yank out the interior and go to town on that asap, cut out as uch rust as you can por15 or hurculine it on the insides, weld it up and have take it to a body shop.

any decent body shop can spot that in for less than a couple hundered, I would do the repairs yourself though for the rust removal, rocker replacement and rust prevention. take care of that now!;)

That is one gorgeous truck man. I bet your friggin' extatic!

So I am geussing this is going to be a DD right?? I don't know i COULD wheel it, it looks so dang nice.

yeah...im in love with the truck for sure guys...thanks for the compliments!!!!! it's my dream truck...only thing i would have done differnt is a short bed, but the LWB is growing on me for sure. and as for wheeling it...i would NEVER!!!!!

it did amazing offroad, but i just had to basically go to recover my buddy in his stuck canyon. so i figured since it was dirty, ill see what she can do, and the grapplers cleaned out amazing!!!!!!!

as for the cancer... im going to get on that rust next weekend and stop it for good...then have a shop somewhere fix it then touch it up...can't i just buy that whole panel for under 50 bucks from LMC...im pretty sure i can, then ill have it painted to match...batta boom, batta bing!

im sure there are wright ups for rocker replacement, im my opinion it is one of the easier rust repairs.

search on here, i assure you once you get some pics you will not think it is a tough job, as for a shop, most will hand a sheet to a tech with xx hours on it to doa rocker.. it is worth your time to do it your self and do it right.

ask muddin manny to do it..that way you get 60 narrorated color coded part numbered pics!:D

Have you looked at the cab mounts, cab floor supports, core support, etc. what kinda rust is underneath?

Looks good from here.

man..everything else is perfect!!!! i can't believe it. inner fenders are fine, body mounts are fine, etc. i even pulled the carpet up at the floorboards, and it was perfect. my dad ran teh vin at his dealership and the truck has been in FL it's whole life....which means, extreme lack of rust!!!! oh yeah!

Unless its been on the beach

that's true... but a majority of them are rust free. anyways, i was so happy when i discovered the "lack of" rust.

I dunno, they haven't been mounted on my rig yet. I'm waiting to get it back from the engine shop and install the 10" lift.

Take a look at my thread in the garage: Manny's '83 K10

Warning, it'll take you about 2-3 hours to read it all!
