I sold my K5 a few months ago and honestly have no interest in building a full size 4x4 any time soon. I've been wanting to go to Moab for years but I dont know anyone else crazy enough to drive that far to rock crawl with me and obviously dont want to go by myself. Since Blazer Bash is a bunch of folks I'd feel comfortable around I think that would be a good time to go. I have a Polaris RZR 900 and from what I see on Youtube they do pretty darn good out there.

I know I cant make it this year but next year is possible.

Would I be shunned from showing up in a Dodge and following all you guys on my "little" RZR?

I don't think they would mind (I haven't been there yet) but I got to say I finally got to drive my cousins 900 XP last weekend and those things rule! We were jumping that thing 6 ft in the air and it would land softly, and it corners a lot better than I thought it would, pretty stable with excellent brakes. I want one!

I wouldn't shun it at all. Dirtbikes and quads racing around the pack, that would get old VERY quick. I think as long as the UTV isn't loud and you stay in line (goofing off is fine, cutting in line for obstacles cause you can is not).

I'd be down for a ride too :)

My dad bought my mom a razor for their anniversary last year. She didn't have much time in it but went to BB. She had a good time and I don't think it was any sweat off anyone's back.

i say no big deal. Just make sure to have it registered, or make sure your states registration works in UT. If it doesn't a out of state tag is $30.00 at most gas stations in Moab.

You dont have to worry about me with loud exhaust...I'm done with that phase. I went back stock because my aftermarket was too loud for me.

I'll be there just to have a good time and watch the trucks and enjoy the scenery. I'll of course follow and do a lot but I'm probably not going to be trying the tougher/steep stuff. I dont have many steep inclines much less rocks around here so I'll be out of my element. If this does happen for me I plan on taking a couple weeks off and exploring the West..Grand Canyon, a couple National Parks, maybe Vegas, etc.

Good to know on the registration and I'll probably just pay for it there. I ride on private land only so it isnt required here.

Heck, last year Brent and some of the guys helped out a UTV driver on the Golden Spike run and we didn't even know them. They rolled and the wife broke her arm. Brent strapped the UTV to the back of his K5 and hauled it out. This is embarrassing because I can't remember his name, but the guy from Canada hauled the UTV driver's wife out in his 2dr Tahoe.

This thing isnt much smaller than a stock K5! :haha:

With my usual setup I'm about 67" wide and 10' long including bumpers, etc. I run 30" mud tires around here most of the time but have 26" stock tires for trails. I will probably pick up a set of 28" all terrain tires too sometime soon. With our typical dry summer there is no point in wearing out my mud tires in dust.

Rides will be available for anyone but dont blame me if you want to buy one. :D

Russel, was the tow truck.

There are some trials where you have to go up the steep stuff so keep that in mind.

Pretty sure you are thinking of Russell. Pretty cool dude based off what i've heard.

Yup, that Canadian dude is pretty dang cool!

I'd have expected no less of a response from all the CK5 guys involved :waytogo: Also, there are always empty seats in the Tahoe! Come ride in luxury in an air conditioned cab on leather seats ;)

Who's that Brent guy though?

The UTV was operational until about half way out, then it wasn't.

I was going to use your screen name but all I could remember was that it was a unique way of spelling red dog. :p:

If this happens I will have quite a few spare parts. Shocks, axles, front diff, ball joints, tie rods, etc
