i'm putting D60/14bolt with rear disc in my 91k5.did you guys change out the master cylinder or booster,or is it sufficient to feed the larger 1 ton brakes?i have 3/4 ton now with drums in the back and it's fine.just wondering what you guys are running?i ran the 1ton axles in my 78 and the brakes were a little mushy, but it was offroad only.the 91 will be drivin on the street and trail.thanks for any help.

before i swapped in my 1 ton axles, i changed out my vaccum power booster from my stock 1/2 ton k5 booster, to a 3/4 ton truck booster.
It is bigger in diameter and length. This made a HUGE difference in braking for my k5.

When i went 1 ton with my rig i did not change master or booster and it stops on a dime with a firm pedal.
